Here's a problem I never foresaw when the Gold Cup B-squad was announced: too many good players to fit into a lineup. Goodson has earned the right to play in the final with his play throughout the tournament so no room for Omar. Bedoya and Mix warrant starting spots but there's nowhere to put them. Corona and Torres have earned spots with consistent good play, Beckerman of all people has become indispensable and Holden rates a slight edge on Mix. Wondo and Orozco played very well early in the tournament and now they're not even a consideration to start. A lot of guys helped themselves in this tournament, now they need to finish it off with a big, shiny trophy.
