Against Jamaica, it seems like a good opportunity to stray from the 4-2-3-1 and move to a 4-1-3-2. The latter is what was used in last year's crucial qualifier against Jamaica in Columbus. It worked then so why go to a more defensive approach in a game where the result means little? I share the opinion of many that Aron Johannsson and Jozy Altidore would be a solid combination at forward. In the midfield, there aren't many true wingers but Donovan and Bedoya are both playing great soccer. Diskerud has been terrific for the U.S team since the start of the Gold Cup. The rest of the team speaks for itself.
