A few things to discuss as some obvious tough choices had to be made. First, Geoff Cameron was my MOTM for the US team on Tuesday but Jones and Bradley still belong central midfield roles when healthy. I do think that Cameron is playing with enough confidence that he can be moved to central defense and be a huge asset out to the back with his passing ability an defensive skills. Cameron and Besler would be strong enough on the ball in the back to push the backline forward. Fullback is the big questions marks. Heroics against Jamaica aside, Evans has been suspect defensively and Castillo is yet to see his strong club play translate over to the U.S national team. The alternatives are not ideal either. Cameron belongs in middle of the field either in defense or midfield. He's not a RB either. Also, if Castillo doesn't play LB, Fabian Johnson would have to. The U.S team plays so much better right now with Johnson in the midfield that moving him back is counterproductive in a game where the US team has the ability to take it to a Honduran team hit with injuries, suspensions, and internal issues. Johnson in the midfield brings out the best in Altidore and everyone else. For that, I am willing to risk Castillo and keep Johnson in an attacking role.
