If you want the best starting XI you need to find the best formation, and the best players to fill those positions specifically. The 4-2-3-1 allows us to get our best XI onto the pitch. This excludes players like Bradley, Dempsey, Jones and Bedoya. Cameron is an elite CDM at Stoke. Acosta is having a break out year as a box-to-box #8. Omar Gonzalez is a starting CB for a top team in Mexico. The rest of the starting XI is self explanatory, unfortunately I doubt Arena will have the guts to bench Bradley or Dempsey.
