I think we would benefit from narrowing the game and allow more possesion on our part. In games against better teams, width makes sense to take advantage of counters, but here I think playing 5 Central players might actually get the job done. Dempsey can play as a withdrawn Forward, and Bradley and Nagbe can be a pulley system in midfield or a 6 and 8 respectively. If we get enough possession, Yedlin and Castillo can provide the width with overlapping runs down the flanks. Dempsey in his later years seems to be most dangerous coming out of midfield in between the lines as a withdrawn forward, because of his tremendous technical ability.
