It's a do-or-die game so the U.S. needs to put its most effective players on the pitch. Wood, Nagbe and Castillo unanimously played the best last Friday. Bradley struggled in the attacking midfielder role. Why not play him in front of the back four, where he seems most comfortable. If Altidore can't go, give Dempsey the nod as the second forward or go a 4-2-3-1 with Wood the lone striker and pair Bradley up with Beckerman. Maybe Steve Birnbaum should get a chance at CB, but do we really want an unfamiliar centerback pairing?
