This 4-1-3-2 is more like a 4-4-2 with a specific holding midfielder (Bradley) and an attacking midfielder (Diskerud). Instead of wingers playing tucked in, play still a bit wider to cover the space. Bobby Wood fully deserves a second start and more leash. Given Morris' performances with the senior team shirt, give him the nod as well. It's time to have two players with loads of energy and speed be the catalysts. Johnson has looked his most comfortable out wide of the midfield vs as a fullback. Give him the nod and the confidence to duplicate his efforts and max potential. If he doesn't fulfill, then replace him with the next guy, in this case moving up Yedlin and bringing on another option at right back. I dream about the CM pairing of Bradley-Diskerud for some time now, but the pairing that features Mix as the creative one and Bradley as the screen to the back four and regulator. Mix has disappointed of late, but it's a lack of rhythm, not that of skill or ability. I very much like Cameron in the center of defense, but I am intrigued at how a pairing with either Miazga or Brooks would look. Besler, when on his game, provides a ton. Question is, could he be an option at fullback much like Bocanegra was for some time of his international days. Yedlin then can settle nicely into the right back spot and completely eliminate Timmy Chandler from any squad moving forward. Guzan is good, but Tim Howard is a rock between the sticks.
