I'm not buying the "because MLS" narrative that Klinsmann is peddling one bit. The MLS guys I've put on here are far more deserving than their European counterparts. SV & G also gives you the opportunity to play guys deserving of a call up without too much risk, mitigating the "need" to play guys out of position. Your right back of the future gets experience in his actual position. McCarty may not be a world beater, but you don't need a world beater in the #6 spot, you need someone who will do the dirty work. Plus, he'll be aided by Bradley in front of him, also playing his actual position. Feilhaber has been the best CAM in MLS this year and you're only European based guy at that spot, Gedion Zelalem, isn't ready, yet. Lletget has been a revelation on the wing in L.A.. The only position I'm uncomfortable with is striker. Jozy's probably the best man for the job, but he's seemed out of sorts for a while now. He needs to get motivated again. Until then, why not try a Zardes or an, if healthy, Aron Johannson. Will any of this happen? Hell No! Klinsmann gonna Klinsmann, and it'll probably be ugly.
