The formation can also be viewed as a 4-3-3 or 4-5-1. The key is Morgan Brian playing CDM so our other attacking minded midfielders can get forward.
Essentially, less is more. One less striker/forward gives room for Rapinoe, Holiday, Lloyd, and Press to get further up the pitch.
No need to mess with that impressive backline.
Heath, Morgan, and Leroux would be my subs.
