We already know Klinsmann likes the diamond, so start from there. I included some natural lineup rotation to keep guys fresh. Morales comes into the Beckerman role, Garza comes in at left back and Johnson moves to the right, while Ream replaces Alvarado, who struggled vs. Honduras. Diskerud is slightly out of position, but so were the wings in the opener. This won't provide speed and width, but Mix and Zusi will offer better possession options in the midfield. With Dempsey, Zusi and Johnson on the right there's a good opportunity for overlaps and overloads.
