With our best quality forwards (Dempsey, Altidore) missing, keeping 5 in the midfield makes sense.
The back line pairing seems fairly obvious. I think it's the first time we will see Besler and Gonzalez next to each other in 2015.
The defensive midfield spots are clear and probably reflect our starters there for the Gold Cup.
The 4 in front of them are a little less clear. Mix is a Klinsmann favorite and Nguyen certainly deserves a start given his play over the last 12 months.
