This formation offers most of the benefits of the 442 played against Mexico. The wing mid-fielders would be deployed much more widely than this diagram. Parkhurst adds more to the attack from the right side than the left. Jozy gets support from Bradley and Dempsey. Edu is an upgrade at CDM over Beckerman because of his pace and athleticism (although Beckerman is a good player there too.) Zusi is a toss-up over Bedoya.
