I've always been a fan of the 3-5-2, but this setup would actually work more like a 3-1-4-2. Jozy and Dempsey up top could make a killer combination, and with Bradley and Mix in midfield, they're guaranteed good service. Jones stays home to cover the back line which makes use of our best defenders. Bedoya and Johnson play as wingbacks, with Yedlin easily able to come on for Bedoya, and Beasley able to take over for Johnson. They will almost definitely need this sub, as they will be pulling double duty defending and attacking on the flanks. To save a sub, Mix and Bedoya can simply switch roles, leaving Mix with the dirty work and Bedoya in midfield next to Bradley.
