I think this formation, with these players, especially bradley and jones working in front of beckerman, would allow altidore to play alone up top, albeit with plenty of creative help pushing forward. Dempsey and Zusi would be provided plenty of opportunities to push rather high, at times making the formation morph into a 4-3-3. Bradley would be very well-suited to travel the field as he pleases with two stalwarts in the middle to back him up.
