The Los Angeles Galaxy attacker makes us all forget about Landon Donovan, while the United States U-20s battle Mexico in Puebla for the position of top dog in CONCACAF.

  • The luck and legs finally ran out for the United States U-20 squad as it fell to Mexico 3-1 in extra time of the CONCACAF Championship. The squad was unlucky not to get a few early penalties and dropped the final. But Tab Ramos and his crew qualified for the World Cup in Turkey and the big man was pleased.

Wil Trapp, Luis Gil, and Jose Villarreal made the all tournament team, which is especially impressive for Trapp, the Columbus Crew product who no one thought was particularly good before the tourney started.

    The final word:
  • Oh, and highlights.
  • In addition to being fluent in the language of goalscoring, Jozy Altidore seems to be picking up Dutch. I'm not going to bother translating this because it's so much more fun to make it up.
  • All your MLS goals on Sunday in one place? Sure, we'll bite. Mike Magee with the hat-trick? Sure thing.
