When we first started reaching out to America's leading soccer players and asked them to take our ASN Questionnaire, Chris Wondolowski was one of the first to agree. And we're very glad about that, because his thorough, thoughtful responses have helped set the standard for this popular feature.

For instance, we asked:

WHAT IS THE QUALITY YOU MOST ADMIRE IN A SOCCER PLAYER? His answer: "Tenacity. Love that. Love anyone who is out there willing to just play and fight. Also, it can sometimes be a considered a low quality, but I think it’s in the best players."

And: WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT LESSON YOU LEARNED FROM THE GAME?
"To never give up. You know, things might not always go your way and there will always be adversity, but you have to fight against it and just keep growing."

Clearly, the 29-year-old striker from Danville, Calif., has applied these practices throughout his record-tying season. To read his full ASN Questionnaire, click here. And then go see where Wondolowski ranks in the ASN 100. And be sure to read his ASN Profile too.
