UNITED STATES national team interim head coach Dave Sarachan had to alter his roster for the upcoming friendlies as Darlington Nagbe and Zack Steffen were scratched and Jonathan Klinsmann was added.

Nagbe was diagnosed with a minor hamstring strain in Atlanta United’s playoff win over New York City FC on Sunday. Similarly, Steffen aggravated a right hamstring strain while with the Columbus Crew – which was eliminated from the playoffs by the New York Red Bulls.

Sarachan has added Hertha Berlin goalkeeper Jonathan Klinsmann – who is the son of former German national team legend and U.S. national team head coach Jurgen Klinsmann. Klinsmann was the starting U.S. U-20 national team goalkeeper at the 2017 World Cup.

The United States will take on England on November 15 at Wembley Stadium in London and Italy on November 20 on Tuesday, Nov. 20 at Luminus Arena in Genk, Belgium.
