  • The Champions League Round of 16 draw is in and the Americans have relatively weak competition, all things considered. Jermaine Jones and Schalke get Galatasaray, while Oguchi Onyewu's Malaga meet Porto. Real Madrid drew Manchester United in the round's most high-profile fixture. Shakhtar-Dortmund is the most exciting one. And, amazingly, the live draw turned out exactly the same as Wednesday's practice one did. Odds of that happening? About one in two million.

  • Your tactical trends of the year, courtesy of Jonathan Wilson: possession, passing, pressing, and no strikers. So basically just be Barcelona. Don't say we didn't tell you what to do.
