WHEN UNITED STATES national team coach Jurgen Klinsmann revealed that he would be making some roster adjustments for the October 14 match against Honduras, American soccer fans felt a collective jolt of excitement.

Would Klinsmann give New England Revolution midfielder Lee Nguyen a shot? Was this Gyasi Zardes' chance to take a bow with the national team? Could Matt Hedges be next in line?

No, no, and no.

There will be no Wil Trapp, Kelyn Rowe, or Perry Kitchen either.

Klinsmann's adjusted roster features six new names, but they are all very familiar to U.S. national team supporters. Jermaine Jones, Michael Bradley, Matt Besler, Graham Zusi, and Clint Dempsey—who all played in Brazil over the summer. So will Chicago Fire goalkeeper Sean Johnson. Here's the new roster:

GOALKEEPERS

Bill Hamid (D.C. United), Sean Johnson (Chicago Fire), Nick Rimando (Real Salt Lake)

DEFENDERS

Matt Besler (Sporting Kansas City), Timmy Chandler (Eintracht Frankfurt), Greg Garza (Club Tijuana), Michael Orozco (Puebla), Tim Ream (Bolton Wanderers), DeAndre Yedlin (Seattle Sounders FC)

MIDFIELDERS

Alejandro Bedoya (Nantes), Michael Bradley (Toronto FC), Joe Corona (Club Tijuana), Mix Diskerud (Rosenborg), Jermaine Jones (New England Revolution), Alfredo Morales (Ingolstadt), Graham Zusi (Sporting Kansas City)

FORWARDS

Jozy Altidore (Sunderland), Clint Dempsey (Seattle Sounders FC), Miguel Ibarra (Minnesota United FC), Chris Wondolowski (San Jose Earthquakes), Bobby Wood (1860 Munich)
