IT HAS BEEN A BRUTAL 2015 for Julian Green, who hasn’t played for club or country this year.

That said, ASN has learned that Green will be on the U.S. U-23 team for the Toulon Tournament which gets underway on Wednesday when the U.S. team takes on France. It will be Green’s first appearance with the U-23 team as it prepares to qualify for the Olympics in October.

On the other hand, it has been a terrific year for Jordan Morris who scored for both the U.S. national team and the U-23 team in April. While still in college, Morris is one of the top players on the U-23 team and ASN has learned he will also be part of the team in Toulon.

It is not confirmed but very possible that both Morris and Green will join the full national team ahead of the June 10th friendly against Germany. The national team will also face the Netherlands on June 5th.

Other names ASN has learned will be on the Toulon roster include:

  • Will Packwood
  • Alfred Koroma
  • Sam Strong
  • Benji Joya
  • Juan Ocegueda
  • Dillon Serna
  • Jerome Kiesewetter
  • Alonso Hernandez
  • Cody Cropper
  • Marc Pelosi
  • Boyd Okwuonu.
