A VOETBALL INTERNATIONAL report pointed out that Icelandic-American striker Aron Johannsson injured his left ankle at practice yesterday, and suggested that he was "very doubtful" for Saturday's match against Juan Agudelo and FC Utrecht.

So American Soccer Now's Brian Sciaretta contacted the club to find out more. Here's what he found out.

"Aron's got two nops in his ankle," according to Alkmaar press officer Daan Schippers, "but he is in tomorrow's squad and ready to play."

So there you go.

If you're curious to know what a "nop" is, and whether having two is worse than having one, we're right there with you. Let us know what you find out.

We're pretty sure the press officer wasn't referring to this.
