FRIDAY

Nantes vs. Lille
2:30 p.m. (all times Eastern)
beIn Sport

Finally—a chance to watch Alejandro Bedoya on TV. His move to Nantes has been hailed as one of the best American moves in recent years, and he has established himself as one of the key players on a surprisingly good Nantes squad. After scoring the late game-winner last week, Bedoya boosted the team ahead within three points of a Champions League spot. Will there be more heroics against third-place Lille?

SATURDAY

Aston Villa v. Everton
10 a.m
NBC Sports Live Extra

In the ninth week of the season, we've got an early trick-or-treat game featuring the U.S. national team's top two goalkeepers. Brad Guzan and Tim Howard have both allowed 10 goals this season, while Howard has three shutouts to Guzan's two. Will this match influence Jurgen Klinsmann’s thinking about who is the U.S. No. 1 and who is the backup? Doubtful. But it’s a great opportunity to gauge their form in a head-to-head contest.

Philadelphia Union vs. Sporting KC
3 p.m.
NBCSN

This regular season finale is big for both teams. A win for Kansas City gives the club a chance to finish atop the Eastern Conference. A Philadelphia victory could catapult the team into the playoffs. Jack McInerney and Amobi Okugo could both use a long playoff run to showcase their abilities ahead of the January U.S. training camp. On the other side of the field, Graham Zusi and Matt Besler are both national team locks at this point, but Benny Feilhaber is still trying to make a positive impression with Klinsmann.

SUNDAY

Sunderland vs. Newcastle
8:30 a.m.
NBC Sports Live

American soccer fans keep hoping that Jozy Altidore will open his Sunderland account “next game,” but it just isn’t happening for him. And Sunderland just stinks. However, Newcastle has a pretty bad defense, giving up the third-most goals in the Premier League so far. The Black Cats will be doing everything it can to create its sixth goal of the season, and this just might be Altidore’s day. Will he score? Won’t he? The match is worth on that level alone.

Udinese vs. Roma
10 a.m.
beIn Sport

AS Roma’s fantastic start to the season is great news for the club…but what does it mean for Michael Bradley, who is recovering from an ankle injury and trying to push his way back into the Starting XI? Is there any chance Bradley gets the start? Will he get meaningful minutes in the second half? The U.S. national team’s most indispensable player has shown that he can claw his way into just about any lineup, but he’s in a tricky spot right now. Unbeaten Roma should, at least on paper, have an easy time with Udinese's lackluster offense.

New York Red Bulls v. Chicago Fire
5 p.m.
MLS Live

There are plenty of story lines to track in this one: Can the New York Red Bulls win the Supporters Shield? Is the team ready to win the MLS championship this year? Will Mike Magee lock up the scoring title? How good is Dax McCarty—World Cup roster good? Though not on national TV—um, why not?—this one is worth tracking down through MLS Live.
