  • We're pausing from American soccer for a moment because Real Madrid-Manchester United kicks off this afternoon and they have a long history. Apparently, the Spanish club held a series of friendlies to help raise money after the plane crash in the 50s. Looking forward, here's a tactical preview. The main tactic? Win.

  • A mustachioed Alexi Lalas talks about his mass of red hair and being the first American player to call a club in Italy home. I'm really enjoying these Centennial videos from U.S. Soccer. I'm sure you wanted to know that.
  • Abby Wambach will earn her 200th cap when the United States takes on Scotland in Nashville Wednesday night in Nashville. Alex Morgan will miss the match with an injured ankle. She will be fine.

  • Jason Davis wants to see DaMarcus Beasley and Jay DeMerit back in the red, white, and blue. Man, you just can't kill DeMerit. He's like Michael from "Halloween," except more intimidating.

  • England, it's just like America.
