ASN Morning Read: U-20s Win Friendly Down Under
While you were sleeping, the Under-20s topped Australia 2-1 behind goals from Joel Sonora and Maki Tall; Los Angeles Football Club has a more official announcement with pretty stadium drawings.
- In a World Cup warmup that started at 4 a.m. ET, the U.S. U-20s beat Australia 2-1. Joel Sonora and Maki Tall scored in the 61st and 63rd minutes and Gedion Zelalem made his U.S. debut, coming on in the 59th minute. Tommy Thompson came close, hitting the post twice. Sonora's goal sounds like it was pretty:
