- In a World Cup warmup that started at 4 a.m. ET, the U.S. U-20s beat Australia 2-1. Joel Sonora and Maki Tall scored in the 61st and 63rd minutes and Gedion Zelalem made his U.S. debut, coming on in the 59th minute. Tommy Thompson came close, hitting the post twice. Sonora's goal sounds like it was pretty:
