  • The United States U-23 squad prepares to face off against Mexico in Carson, California tonight (11 p.m., Unimas).

  • Haha, what: Julian Green would have played for the United States under-23 squad in Wednesday's friendly against Mexico, but new Hamburg coach Bruno Labbadia gave permission hours too late, according to U.S. assistant coach Andi Herzog.

  • The Montreal Impact take on Club America tonight (9 p.m., Fox Sports 2, Unimas) in the first leg of the CONCACAF Champions League final. Splash the cash: If the Montreal Impact fail secure a result in the first leg of the CONCACAF Champions League final, it won’t be because they cheaped out. According to an Impact spokesman, the club spent $300,000 on travel to and accommodations in Mexico City.
