  • The headline says it all: Two Late Goals Sink United States in Denmark.

  • This does, too: "It was a just scoreline, given how Denmark dominated the run of play and created the better chances. Some wayward finishing by the Danes, plus some solid goalkeeping from Nick Rimando, allowed the Americans to stay in it, and they seemed poised for an unlikely victory when Johannsson scored from Altidore's pass in the 65th minute. While a flurry of substitutions affected the team's cohesiveness, the U.S. should have done better in closing out the match."

  • Um, whoa: "The U.S. under Klinsmann are more direct and have fewer ideas in possession than at any time over the last two decades."

  • But are we really ready to call for Klinsmann's head? It's really not that bad.
