  • The playoffs are here. In the play-in games, No. 4 Houston Dynamo battles No. 5 Montreal Impact in the Eastern Conference with No. 4 Seattle Sounders and No. 5 Colorado Rapids kicking off in the Western. The winner of those games will take on the New York Red Bulls and the Portland Timbers, respectively, with the New England Revolution and Sporting Kansas City and Real Salt Lake vs. L.A. Galaxy in the other semifinals.

  • Clint Dempsey got off the schnide, tallying his first MLS goal over the weekend. Here's a good stat for you:

  • Timothy Chandler showed up over the weekend, getting an assist with staff members from the United States national team in attendance. Good timing, Timmy.
  • Julian Green, yo.

  • Michael Bradley, meet game-winner. He does that so casually.

  • Michel Platini seems to think that expanding the World Cup field to 40 teams would be a good idea in 2018. Of course he does. Cha-ching.
