  • Jurgen Klinsmann made the 10-person shortlist for the FIFA World Coach of the Year Award, the first U.S. men’s coach to be nominated for the award that started in 2010. That list will be narrowed down to three finalists on Dec. 1, with the award ceremony being held in Zurich on Jan. 15.

  • Clint Dempsey’s agent squashed a report that the 31-year-old could go on loan to the Premier League in January, calling the rumor “completely false and inaccurate.”

  • Michael Bradley will undergo foot surgery to correct a nerve issue in his foot. And, uh...

  • In an announcement that shocked absolutely nobody, MLS has officially shut down Chivas USA. Garber: "As part of our new Los Angeles strategy, we will launch a new MLS Los Angeles club for the 2017 season and will announce the new team’s ownership group later this week." Conference realigment will also take place in 2015. The West gets even more powerful with Sporting Kansas City and the Houston Dynamo, while the East adds two expansion teams in NYCFC and Orlando City.
