  • Jozy Altidore on his move back to MLS: “There were a lot of options. People were saying I was forced to Toronto or something like that. I just thought at this point in my life it was something that I was ready to do. I was ready for the public opinion and backlash. The project they have here excited me the most.” There’s mention of Altidore having picked Toronto over four German clubs, two French sides, two Italian teams and a potential loan move within the Premier League.

  • ASN spoke with former MLS executive Kevin Payne to get the suits' perspective on labor negotiation.

    Kaka's glare though...

  • Recently-called-up Matt Hedges: “I used [not getting called up] as motivation. "I thought I should be getting that call, so I went out and played harder than anybody else out there, because I wanted to be [in camp] and I wanted to show those coaches that I need to be there. That was how I saw it.”
