  • Oh hey there golazo: The jury's still out on whether this kid is any good in an "impactful on the United States national team" way, but he sure is exciting.

  • Stoke City appears to be interested in New England Revolution star Juan Agudelo: "Manager Mark Hughes has turned his attention to the 20-year-old Columbian-born star after missing out on a loan move for Benfica striker Nelson Oliveira last week. Hughes was interested in Agudelo, who now plays in the United States for New England Revolution, when he was in charge at Manchester City three years ago, and has monitored his progress since then. Stoke have used their presence in America these past 11 days to conduct advanced talks amid competition from at least one Premier League rival." That last part is the best. Stoke City could either come to the United States, play some games, and also talk about players or, you know, pick up the phone. Maybe even a tweet: "@JuanAgudelo: How do you feel about Stoke City? cc: @MLS @NewEnglandRevolution

  • Speaking of the Revs, Kevin Alston is back, which is great.

  • There were some Clint Dempsey transfer rumors or something. Our phrasing of this in the passive voice indicates our level of interest.
