  • The war between Don Garber and Jurgen Klinsmann may not be over, but a potential end is in sight. "Given some of the comments, I wasn’t surprised it became a hot-button issue,” Sunil Gulati said Wednesday. “But the fundamental views of all of us involved are: ‘We’re on the same page.’ We got diverted from that, so it will go on for a little bit. I don’t view this as there being an undercurrent going forward. There won’t be any lingering issues.”

  • Bada bing: "Colombia showed in the World Cup that they are one of the top teams in the world," Klinsmann said in a statement. "They have some tremendous attacking talent like Radamel Falcao at Manchester United, James Rodriguez who won the Golden Boot at the World Cup and now plays at Real Madrid, Adrian Ramos from Dortmund who was one of the top scorers in the Bundesliga, and Carlos Bacca who won the Europa League with Sevilla. So overall, it's a squad with a lot of experience playing at the highest level, and this will be another great benchmark for us. We are thrilled to be playing at Craven Cottage, which holds so many good memories for US players. It will be a unique experience."

  • Want to tell Klinsmann how he should line 'em up against Colombia? Of course you do. Our Starting XI tool lets you create your optimal U.S. lineup with a big of dragging and dropping. Lee Nguyen? Matt Hedges? Brek Shea? Totally up to you.

  • Here's Kyle Beckerman in an ad we don't entirely understand:
  • Orlando City launches a website and boy is it purple. There is also a lot of groundbreaking going on there.

  • Welp, that didn't go great:
