FRIDAY

Tijuana vs. Santos Laguna
10:30 p.m. (all times Eastern)
ESPN Deportes

Herculez Gomez won‘t be on hand to face his former club, but as many as four Americans could see action this weekend. Edgar Castillo, Joe Corona, Greg Garza, and Paul Arriola all featured in Tijuana’s Champions League opener on Tuesday. Arriola opened the affair in the 11th minute as the Xolos went on to capture a 3-2 victory over Honduran outfit Victoria. Now, this American quartet will look to carry that momentum into league play Friday night.

SATURDAY

Southampton vs. Sunderland
10:00 a.m.
NBC Sports Network

Jozy Altidore failed to reopen his Premier League account last week, but that didn't stop NBC Sports from moving this Saturday‘s clash with Southampton to a proper channel. Originally scheduled for the Extra Time bonus package, the match will now be featured on NBC Sports Network. You won’t have too many difficulties finding this one on your TV guide. Hopefully, Altidore finds the back of the net with similar ease.

Hertha Berlin vs. Hamburg SV
12:30 p.m.
GolTV

John Brooks played seven brief minutes in last Sunday‘s 2-2 draw with Nurnberg. The 20-year-old defender was limited due to a 90-minute performance with the national team just days prior. Now, after a full week to rest that six-foot-four frame, look for Brooks to return to the starting lineup against Hamburg SV this Saturday.

SUNDAY

Livorno vs. Roma
2:45 p.m.
Tape delayed at 7:15 p.m. on beIN Sport

The day has finally come. A new Serie A season is finally here. Michael Bradley, the No. 1-ranked player in the ASN 100, will look to build on a season that nearly saw his club capture its first major trophy since 2008. It starts with a trip to Stadio Armando Picchi this Sunday to face Italian side Livorno.

Seattle Sounders vs. Portland Timbers
10:00 p.m.
ESPN 2

A capacity crowd of 67,000-plus. Clint Dempsey‘s home debut with the Sounders. A pivotal Cascadia Cup clash. What more could you ask for on a Sunday night?

BEST OF THE REST

Bundesliga: Bayern Munich vs. Nurnberg (9:30 a.m., Saturday, GolTV)—Timothy Chandler hasn‘t featured with the national team since February. He‘ll have an opportunity to return to the national team radar with a quality performance against the best club in all of soccer.

MLS: Vancouver Whitecaps vs. Los Angeles Galaxy (9:00 p.m., Saturday, MLS Live)—Don‘t focus on the rumors surrounding Landon Donovan‘s possible departure to Europe in the offseason. Focus on his game. He‘ll be playing an important one at BC Place on Saturday.

NO U.S. ANGLE BUT...

Premier League: Fulham vs. Arsenal (7:45 a.m., Saturday, NBC Sports Network)—Start your Saturday morning with a London Derby at Craven Cottage.
