Familiar to MLS fans, Daniel is a left-footed versatile midfielder who can do damage from distance, if given space.

Since making his T&T debut in 2007 as a 20 year old, Daniel has become a mainstay in the Soca Warrior midfield, parlaying his 56 international caps into club success with the Union. A U-20 star in his home country, Daniel trialed at Manchester United and West Ham as a youngster, before working his way up the U.S. ranks in USL and then MLS, where he latched on with the Union after a trial in 2011.

Technically-gifted and strong in the air, Daniel can play a narrow left mid, but prefers the center, where he can harass attackers with his relentless pressing and, on the attack, pick out a clever pass and find space for his patented driven knucklers off his left foot. He’s scored just twice in 55 appearances for Philadelphia but provides more offensive spark for Trinidad, most recently netting a hat-trick vs. Anguilla in October 2012.
