SATURDAY

Aston Villa vs. Cardiff City
10:00 a.m. (all times Eastern)
NBC Sports Live Extra

It's the last game before the international break for Brad Guzan, who could be looking at some playing time during the upcoming National team friendlies against Scotland and Austria. A win against the Welsh side could vault the Villans to the top half of the table after 11 games, something that did not seem likely at the beginning of the season.

Leicester City vs. Nottingham Forest
10:00 a.m.
beIn Sport Play

Haven't seen Eric Lichaj play recently? Here's your chance. It's a long season in the Championship, but Nottingham Forest are sitting in a promotion playoff spot early on.

Houston Dynamo vs. Sporting Kansas City
2:00 p.m.
NBC

It's the Eastern Conference Semifinals and another chance to impress Jurgen Klinsmann and his scouts. It's an opportunity for Brad Davis to show he belongs in Brazil and for Benny Feilhaber to shine in a high-pressure situation that the national team coach will be watching.

SUNDAY

Roma vs. Sassuolo
9:00 a.m.
beIn Sport USA

Roma's perfect run is over, but the team is still undefeated and leading Serie A. Michael Bradley went 90 minutes plus stoppage time in the 1-1 tie against Torino last week. He should get more meaningful minutes against the bottom-dwelling Serie A debutantes.

Portland Timbers vs. Real Salt Lake
9:00 p.m.
ESPN

It's the Western Conference finals, yo.

BEST OF THE REST

English Premier League: Sunderland vs. Manchester City (9:05 a.m. Sunday; NBCSN)—It's probably going to be ugly for Sunderland, but it's a good chance to see how Jozy Altidore plays against world-class competition for the first time this season.

NO U.S. ANGLE BUT...

Serie A: Juventus vs. Napoli (2:45 p.m. Sunday; beIn Sport)—After almost a dozen games, Juventus and Napoli look like the only teams able to challenge Roma for the top spot in Serie A. This game could be a setback for one, or a setback for both with a tie and a Roma win. It's a good opportunity to see some high quality soccer with implications.
