  • For starters, you saw the game, right? If not, read this match report immediately. If so, you still need to read Noah Davis' insightful piece.

  • ASN's Brian Sciaretta does Player Ratings for all U.S. matches, and gave high grades to Geoff Cameron, Michael Bradley, Bruce Arena, and others. We aggregate ratings from other sources, including fans like you.

  • Post-game analysis is essential in games as important as this one. And Michael Bradley was quite forthcoming in the mixed zone after the game: "We watched a lot of video with some of their movements," he said. "We knew that at certain moments, Chicharito was looking to come to the ball... I felt like I was able to read what he wanted to do and step in. That led to a good goal for us."

  • We don't mean to give the U.S. women short shrift, but hey—the men were playing for their World Cup lives and the women had a friendly in Scandinavia. Still, yes, John D. Halloran wrote about it.

  • Next up for the ASN staff: revamping this list. It's four months old now, and time for some adjustments.
