  • Jermaine Jones is suspended by Schalke so he can get a chance to "reflect." As a result, the American midfielder will go under the knife, getting surgery to fix his meniscus. The recovery will take six weeks. Or... maybe not: Everything about this story is strange.

  • Speaking of U.S. national team midfielders, Sacha Kljestan earned an assist in Anderlecht's 1-0 victory on Sunday.

  • Kevin Hoyos, who ASN profiled last week, scored two goals for CD Victoria including a fantastic bicycle kick. He also appears to be playing in 1980.

  • Bob Bradley. Egypt. 'nuf said.
