"USA first to mark territory in Brazil" is not the headline we would have gone with but whatever, there's some excellent information in FIFA.com's piece about the Americans. Our favorite nugget: “The good thing for us is we don’t start the World Cup with a group game, we basically start it with the World Cup final,” Jurgen Klinsmann says. “We need badly three points against Ghana and then another one against Portugal and we’ll see what we’re going to do against Germany, so it puts you on your toes from the first second.”
Eric Lichaj would like Nottingham Forest to go through to the next round in the FA Cup. We would like some breakfast.

Gedion Zelalem, the best prospect since Cesc Fabregas, debuted for Arsenal's first team, further decreasing the odds that he ever suits up for the U.S. He's fun to watch, though:
