ASN Morning Read: One Last Run for Wambach
Yeah, we can't believe it either but Wednesday night marks the final appearance for the all-world striker in a red, white, and blue uniform. You should probably watch the game, no?
- Abby Wambach plays in her final game tonight (8:30p.m. ET, FS1), which is such big news that it's being covered by NPR.

- The men, meanwhile, announced they play home against Iceland (Jan. 31) and Canada (Feb. 4) at the StubHub Center in Carson, Calif. to kick off the 2016 season. "ASN has been told that this year’s January camp will feature around 27 players and will include a few top U-23 players. There will be no January U-23 camp as a result. U-23 players likely to be in the mix include Stanford University forward Jordan Morris, New York Red Bulls defender Matt Miazga, Columbus Crew midfielder Wil Trapp, and Molde goalkeeper Ethan Horvath."
- Freddy Adu re-signs with the Tampa Bay Rowdies, a one-year deal with a one-year club option. Here's one of his assists:
- "Mexican businessman Gabriel Brener has acquired the controlling interest of Major League Soccer's Houston Dynamo, the National Women's Soccer League's Dash and the remaining 27 years on the 30-year lease on BBVA Compass Stadium. Brener, who initially bought 50 percent in the club along with former boxing champion Oscar De La Hoya in February 2008, acquired Phil Anschutz's Anschutz Entertainment Group's 50 percent controlling share in the Dynamo."
