  • Okay, moving on. Jurgen Klinsmann named 20 players for the qualifiers against Jamaica and Panama. Michael Bradley, Clint Dempsey, and Fabian Johnson will miss the two matches with an injury but Landon Donovan, Jozy Altidore, Tim Howard, and plenty of other strong Starting XI options are in the group. Those not getting the call, however, include Eric Lichaj, DeAndre Yedlin, Chris Klute, and Timothy Chandler. So yeah. Food for thought:

He had injury problems, the transfer was done late and he didn’t have a proper preseason, and he’s running behind. So he has to do some catching up and he will eventually get it done."
