  • First, the news leaked that Bayern Munich was going to let Green train with the United States before their friendly against Mexico. Then, bah bam: Then, jackpot:

  • Then, of course, the flood of articles. We asked Julian Green Has Pledged Allegiance to the United States. Big Deal or Not? ASN EIC John Godfrey has an explainer just in case you don't know who Green is. So does Sports Illustrated and pretty much every publication that covers American soccer.

  • For what it's worth, yours truly is still against Green making the World Cup roster for a variety of reasons. But:
