ASN Morning Read: In Search of Another Winger

The United States men's national team needs someone to play out wide, and we have some ideas; Christian Pulisic makes it look so easy yet again; a young center back gets a start and looks like he belongs.

  • Who Will Be 'Other Winger' on U.S. National Team?

  • It took Christian Pulisic one touch to score, which, quite frankly, is too many. He should be able to will the ball into the net:
  • Cameron Carter-Vickers played (and played well) in Tottenham's third round FA Cup win on Sunday. Want to know more about him? U.S. Soccer puts together a list of facts. Study up on the rising star.

  • I am not super interested in this development: "In a strange turn of events, U.S. Soccer will now have two Division II status leagues entering the 2017 season.U.S. Soccer announced on Friday night that both NASL and USL will hold provisional D II statuses for the upcoming 2017 season. Additionally, the U.S. Soccer board will work with both leagues in order to meet the standards set forth by U.S. Soccer moving forward."

  • Good shot:
