- The United States concludes the semifinal round of CONCACAF World Cup qualifying tonight in Jacksonville against Trinidad & Tobago, with hex qualification all but certain. A win or a draw would see the U.S. through, but holding a 12-goal cushion over Guatemala, the Americans would still probably advance with a loss.

- After Sacha Kljestan and Christian Pulisic turned in great performances off the bench Friday, which should earn them both more playing time.
- Megan Rapinoe showed support for Colin Kaepernick on Sunday night, kneeling while the national anthem was played before a Seattle-Chicago match.
“Being a gay American, I know what it means to look at the flag and not have it protect all of your liberties. It was something small that I could do and something that I plan to keep doing in the future and hopefully spark some meaningful conversation around it.
