Adrian Mariappa Booked in Crystal Palace Loss

The U.S. has qualified, rendering the final two Hex matches a bit less relevant. But not irrelevant, so we're still keeping tabs on the Stars and Stripes' upcoming opponents.

Jamaica
Adrian Mariappa continues to settle in at Crystal Palace. He was booked in the club's 2-0 loss to Southampton.

It was a good match for Caribbeans at the King Power Stadium. Jamaican Wes Morgan's Leicester City team won 2-1, but Trinidad and Tobago international Jason Scotland came on to score Barnsley's only goal.

Lloyd Doyley looks to be back to full fitness, playing all of Watford's 1-0 win against Wigan.

Reading's group of Jamaicans also got a result, beating Birmingham City, 2-0. Garath McCleary started and made way in the 80th minute. Shaun Cummings was an unused substitute. Jobi McAnuff is still out with an ankle injury.

Leeds United continues its downward slide, losing 2-0 at Millwall this weekend. Rodolph Austin played the whole match in midfield.

Bolton Wanderers picked up its fourth point of the season on a stoppage-time equalizer. Jermaine Beckford came on in the 54th minute but didn't tally the goal.

Jermaine Johnson started but also couldn't tally and came out in the 69th minute of Sheffield Wednesday's 1-0 loss to Doncaster Rovers. Theo Robinson started for the victors, being removed in the 63rd minute.

Outside the Championship, another Reggae Boyz' club is struggling. Karlsruher got back to losing ways Friday, dropping a 3-0 result at Erzgebirge Aue. Daniel Gordon went the full 90 in a losing effort.

Good news in League One where Chris Humphrey and Preston North End sit fourth. Humphrey started for PNE in a 2-1 win against Swindon Town and was substituted in the 84th minute.

On the opposite end of the spectrum, Sheffield United is bottom of League One. Marlon King's club lost 2-0 to Wolves this weekend. He went the full 90.

Marvin Elliott was a late substitute for Bristol City in a 1-1 draw with Colchester United.

Luton Shelton started for Volga but was substituted at the half.

Panama
In La Liga action, Malaga drew with Real Valladolid on Friday. Roberto Chen was in his usual place on the bench (naturalized Dominican Heinz Barmettler was on the bench for Valladolid).

Luis Henriquez missed this weekend's Lec Poznan match after he was handed a two-match suspension for fouls the Polish league's disciplinary commission saw on replay. That's actually good news for Panama, since Henriquez can turn up early now.

Roman Torres continued his remarkable booking streak. The Millonarios man was shown yellow in a 2-2 draw against Itagui, marking his fifth yellow card in his last seven matches with club and country.

Amilcar Henriquez scored Medellin's final goal in a 4-0 midweek win and went the full 90 in a draw to Santa Fe. He was booked in both matches. Anibal Godoy started and went 52 minutes for Honved, who defeated Szombathelyi Haladas, 2-1.

Jairo Jimenez made his first Elche 2 start, going 56 minutes in a defeat of Prat in the Spanish third division.

The Uruguayan league is on break, so Cecilio Waterman and Luis Mejia were off.
